FrostWire

File sharing program based on P2P LimeWire Gnutella.

Since broadband connections and the P2P nets appeared, many alternatives have appeared to so that file sharing among users all over the world was possible. One of these alternatives are the Gnutella nets, that appeared with its client, LimeWire, that made it popular.

  Now we can use use FrostWire, a P2P client that is also compatible with the Gnutella net, as well as the Torrent net, and that has a very clear and intuitive interface and that notably improves the download speed of LimeWire.

  The way the application works is very simple, because once connected all we have to do is search for the files we want to download, double click on what we want to download to our hard drive and thats it.

  FrostWire also includes a chat that we can use to communicate with other users of this peculiar client, it integrates perfectly with iTunes (thus all the music that we download with appear directly in our library) and it can be personalized by using skins.
